GCT 113 is a Leyland Fleetline with Roe Park Royal O45/29D body that was delivered new to Grimsby-Cleethorpes Transport (GCT) in December 1976 (as H45/29D) and entered service in January 1977.

Registered MBE 613R and given fleet number 113, she operated in passenger service for GCT until the company was purchased by Stagecoach Holdings in November 1993.

For operation along Cleethorpes seafront GCT 113's roof was removed during Spring 1994 and she entered service in July of that year, where she would operate alongside sister (Daimler) Fleetline 103 (BJV 103L).

GCT 113 was withdrawn from service in July 2005 and transferred away from Grimsby for the first time, taking up a new role as a promotional vehicle for Stagecoach East Midland's Chesterfield depot.

From April 2007, following Stagecoach's acquisition of the Traction Group earlier, Chesterfield depot moved into the new Yorkshire regional group, where GCT 113 remained until August 2017 when I was fortunate enough to purchase her for ongoing preservation.

There are many facets to this website. From a page detailing rallies which GCT 113 will be attending, to a full, detailed history of the bus as well as a section that explains why I chose to buy this ex-GCT stalwart. A potted history section shows just that, as does a page detailing the many and varied liveries GCT 113 has worn since 1976. There is a page that showcases images of her in years gone by.

The website also has its own blog where up-to-date details of GCT 113's progress can be seen, as well as plenty of photos of the bus now in a former GCT livery in preservation.

A contact section can be found below. It's always great to hear from people who recall travelling on or driving this piece of Grimsby history. I'm always keen to receive new photos of GCT 113 for upload to this website (where you'll be credited) as well as errors and/or omissions that you may have spotted.
